This privacy statement applies to all individuals and professionals using the Heidelberg Materials application. The Application is intended for voluntary use by parties interested in HM Lixhe Flash Info.

3. For what purposes does Heidelberg Materials process your personal data?
The general purpose of the processing of your personal data for the use of the Heidelberg Materials application is to enable us to notify you of information about events or issues in or around our quarry(s) and/or plant(s) that are of interest to you, such as information about traffic diversions in connection with Heidelberg Materials operations. The processing of the address of persons registered on the Application is necessary to determine what information is relevant to you (so that you only receive information about the quarry or factory near you).
4. What are the legal grounds for processing your personal data under the GDPR?
The legal basis for processing your personal data for the use of the App is consent.
You always have the right to withdraw your consent, see point 9(f).
5. How long does Heidelberg Materials keep your personal data?
Your personal data will be retained for as long as you use the Application. Once you unsubscribe from the Application / withdraw your consent, your personal data held by us for the purposes set out in this privacy statement will be deleted, unless we are obliged to keep your personal data for longer, due to legal obligations or in case we have another legitimate reason to keep your personal data for longer.
6. With whom do we share your personal data?
Sometimes we engage third parties to process personal data on our behalf. These may be (IT) suppliers, application hosts, security or audit services or other services. In all cases, an appropriate (outsourcing) agreement is concluded with the third parties, which, among other things, ensures that the data is processed correctly and securely. In specific cases - when we are legally obliged to do so - we have to share (personal) data with supervisory authorities, the judiciary, police and other investigative bodies with legal investigative powers. We are not permitted to disclose this data to you.
7. Will your personal data be transferred outside the European Economic Area?
Heidelberg Materials will not transfer your personal data to parties outside the European Economic Area ("EEA").
8. How does Heidelberg Materials protect your personal data?
We have taken appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. For example, we have access controls, we use appropriate system and network security measures such as firewalls, encryption and patches, we protect portable devices with appropriate passwords and all our employees are obliged to keep your personal data confidential.
